She quickly became famous and was called “America’s sweetheart” because she was pretty and nice.

But, after reaching fame, Ryan decided to take a break from acting and focus on his family instead. This was due to her high-profile romance with actor Russell Crowe, which made headlines before their final breakup. As a result, Ryan moved away from the spotlight for a while to prevent further problems. Meg Ryan’s acting career began while studying journalism at the University of Connecticut and New York University when she started doing commercials.
