At 45, my life fell apart. My husband betrayed me with my closest friend, my boss fired me, and I was left with nothing but tears and heartbreak. Sitting alone on the cold wooden floor of my empty apartment, it felt like my world had crumbled in an instant. When my lawyer called to discuss the case, I could hardly focus. In a moment of surrender, I told him I no longer cared about fighting. He understood and agreed to handle everything. Lost and aimless, I opened my laptop and, without hesitation, bought a one-way ticket to Argentina.
