Felix, a single dad, helps his elderly neighbor, Mrs. White, mow her lawn. As a token of appreciation, she offers him an ornate box, which he initially refuses but later finds hidden in a bag of apples. Shortly after, Mrs. White passes away, and Felix is left with the mysterious box. The next day, he receives a call from Mrs. White’s lawyer, asking for an urgent meeting.
Felix discovers that the antique box could be worth $250,000, leading him to question whether to keep it for financial security. Mrs. White’s son, Henry, accuses Felix of stealing it and demands its return, saying, “I need that box back. I’m willing to pay for its return.” Felix refuses the offer, insisting the box was given to him by Mrs. White.
Now facing legal threats and moral dilemmas, Felix must decide whether to return the box or use it to secure a better future for his daughter, Alice. With pressure mounting, his future hangs in the balance.
