Alain Delon, the iconic French cinema legend and heartthrob, passed away on August 18th at his home in Douchy, France. Surrounded by his loved ones, Delon’s children—Alain-Fabien, Anouchka, Anthony, and his dog Lupo—announced his passing in a heartfelt statement: “He peacefully passed away at his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children.”

Although the exact cause of death wasn’t disclosed, Delon had been suffering from progressive lymphoma and Alzheimer’s disease. In recent years, the actor had expressed a deep sense of loneliness and pain, even considering euthanasia, with plans reportedly in place.

In January 2024, a court restricted Delon’s legal capacity, preventing him from managing his property. Throughout his final years, his daughter Anouchka was closest to him, often sharing photos of her father. Despite his illness, she emphasized his enduring spirit, saying, “Delon will always remain Delon.”
