Even in parts of the nation where it would have been unthinkable for some, former president Donald Trump is gaining support.
According to the Daily Wire, the ex-president had a fundraiser with wealthy figures from the tech industry last week, raising about $12 million, in the garden of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.The fundraiser was held in the Pacific Heights mansion of venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya and venture investor David Sacks. The popular podcast “All-In” is co-hosted by Palihapitiya and Sacks. Depending on the extras, the cost to attend might range from $50,000 to $500,000. Notable venture capitalists and cryptocurrency investors were in attendance.
