Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, shared a touching moment with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, during her and Prince Harry’s trip to Nigeria on May 10. While visiting pupils at the Lightway Academy, Meghan recounted a sweet exchange with her 2-year-old daughter. “Our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys,” Meghan said, adding, “She then says, ‘Mama, I see myself in you.’”
Meghan reflected on the deeper meaning, explaining, “Yes, I do see myself in you, and you see me in you.” She told the children, “As I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well.”
The couple, who also have a five-year-old son, Prince Archie, joined in singing, dancing, and games with the children. Meghan noted that “That’s Lili’s favorite class… Perhaps it’s all the hopping around.”
Although the Sussexes keep much of their personal life private, they offer occasional glimpses. In February, Harry shared on *Good Morning America*, “The kids are doing great… They both have an amazing sense of humor and make us laugh every day.”
Despite stepping back from royal duties, the couple remains committed to their roles as loving parents.
