Catherine, Princess of Wales, Reveals She Has Cancer

The princess referred to the news as a “huge shock” and requested “time, space, and privacy” in a video that was produced and shown on the BBC on Friday evening in the United Kingdom. Catherine, Princess of Wales, said in a video statement that she had been diagnosed with cancer and that she had begun treatment.

 

The announcement that Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been diagnosed with cancer and has begun chemotherapy was made in a video message that she sent out on Friday. In the message, she described the preceding two months as being “incredibly difficult for our entire family.”
