Professional Bull Rider Dylan Grant Dies — Father Speaks Out

The thrill of the rodeo turned tragic when 24-year-old Dylan Grant, a professional bull rider from Pavillion, Wyoming, lost his life during a competition at the Wharton County Youth Fair’s PRCA Xtreme Bulls event in Texas on April 3, 2025.

During the second round of the event, Grant was thrown from the bull and subsequently trampled. Emergency medical personnel responded promptly, providing immediate care before airlifting him to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston. Despite their efforts, Grant succumbed to his injuries.
